Chicago Flag from Reclaimed Boards

I’ve seen these before at street fairs and on the walls of my friends houses — I loved it and knew I wanted to make one.

The stars are made from an old red barn board that I cut with a jigsaw. The stripes are old floorboards — the top and bottom white stripes have original paint, the middle 3 are painted lightly to get the color I was going for but keep the cool old texture.
